Hello,

I'm Andrew Gillum and it is my pleasure to serve as the Mayor of Tallahassee; a fascinating city with a rich history, unique southern charm, and a bright and innovative future.

From our growing downtown, renowned universities, world-class parks system, or beautifully diverse neighborhoods; Tallahassee offers something to families, young professionals, entrepreneurs, small businesses and anyone else looking for a vibrant place to call home. As the Capital City of the third largest state in the union, we strive to set the standard for Florida and the United States, and have invested greatly in our community's quality of life and business environment.

Tallahassee houses three institutions of higher education, cutting edge research laboratories, a burgeoning entrepreneurial ecosystem, and strong creative class focused on arts and culture; all amenities that are defining our City's new economy. We also have one of the nation's best utilities, providing leadership in sustainability for our community and state. Our City government is constantly working to improve the services it provides to our citizens, and it has been recognized time and again for the ingenuity and expertise of the hard working men and women who work here.

With a rich and diverse heritage, Tallahassee is a city that continues to progress through the ideas and efforts of our most important resource; our people. So whether you are visiting, doing business, or living in our great City, it is not hard to see the great promise and dynamism of Tallahassee.
