Suspect Arrested in Fatal Mission Road Crash

On June 11, the Tallahassee Police Department made an arrest in a fatal crash that occurred in April on Mission Road.
The investigation revealed that, just before 12:30 a.m. on April 21, the arrestee was driving under the influence in the 3300 block of Mission Road. The arrestee was driving at a high rate of speed when she impacted the rear of another vehicle containing three occupants. One victim, an adult female, sustained serious injuries. Another victim, a juvenile female, sustained serious injuries, and sadly, a third victim, an adult female, succumbed to her injuries as a result of the crash.
Following a thorough investigation, investigators developed probable cause, and the arrestee was taken into custody with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Task Force.
