Applications Now Being Accepted
June 10, 2021
The Tallahassee Police Department (TPD) is kicking off another fun-filled summer for local youth. The TPD Cadet program is hosting a week-long summer academy from June 28 to July 2 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day.
This year, participants can look forward to training in building searches, fingerprinting, forensics and traffic stops. The Cadet summer academy is a youth program designed for people 14-21 years old. It aims to teach youth about law enforcement as a possible career path.
Applications can be found here and will be accepted until the camp reaches capacity or June 23, whichever comes first. Please contact Sergeant Evan Alwine at 850-901-7251 or Evan.Alwine@Talgov.com for more information.
