TPD responds to shooting on Nashville Drive

UPDATE - July 17
After conducting a thorough and extensive investigation, the Tallahassee Police Department has made an arrest in the shooting incident occurring July 14, 2018 at 1441 Nashville Drive. After interviewing witnesses and examining the evidence, investigators with the Violent Crimes Unit obtained a warrant for Travis Maddox for Attempted Homicide and Possession of a Firearm by a Convicted Felon. TPD officers arrested Mr. Maddox yesterday and transported him to the Leon County Detention Facility for processing.
For further details, the probable cause affidavit is attached to this release and has been redacted in accordance with Florida Statute 365.171(15).

Attempted Homicide pursuant to Florida Statute 782.04(1)(A)1.
Possession of a Firearm by a Florida Convicted Felon pursuant to Florida Statute 790.23 (1)(a).
OLDER - July 14
This morning at approximately 1:18 a.m., the Tallahassee Police Department responded to a shooting incident at 1433 Nashville Drive. Officers responded to the area to find one subject suffering from a gunshot wound. Arriving officers and emergency personnel provided immediate medical attention to the subject who was taken to a local hospital with non-life threating injuries.
The case has been assigned to TPD's Violent Crimes Unit. At this time Investigators are asking anyone with information about this case to please call them at (850) 891-4200 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 574-TIPS. TPD will provide updates when they become available.
