Community Reunion Returns to Robinson-Trueblood Pool
Event Offers Activities for All Ages

Connect with old friends, meet new neighbors and enjoy a classic summer day with the family at the 10th biennial Robinson-Trueblood Pool Community Reunion on Saturday, Aug. 10, from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Everyone is invited to take part in this free, all-ages event. There will be lots of fun activities, including swimming, basketball, volleyball, horseshoe games, ping pong and more! There will also be a classic car exhibit and live entertainment. Food will be provided. For more information about the event, please call George Ellis at 850-878-4473.
Named for local soldiers Pvt. Eddie Robinson and Cpl. David Trueblood, who were killed in the Korean War, the Robinson-Trueblood Pool is located at the Lawrence-Gregory Community Center, 1115 Dade Street. The pool is open seasonally from noon to 5 p.m. every day of the week. Originally dedicated in1953 and renovated in 2001, the facility features a pool with zero depth entry, interactive water-play features, two lap lanes, a bath house and a 98-foot, 2-loop slide.
